“I WANT A GREAT WORLD” Gabriel Kammann’s CD Release !!
Gabriel’s Vision: sell the cd of his song “I Want a Great World” to raise $250 for the Smile Train Charity, which offers life changing cleft palate operations to poor children worldwide, as well as training local doctors and hospital personnel in the procedure. $250 will pay for one child’s surgery. Thanks to the generosity of many, Gabriel has realized his vision!! In two days he raised $260 to give a child the gift of a smile that can last a lifetime.

Gabriel created the song after becoming inspired by his studies of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., and by seeing President Barack Obama’s inaugural concerts on TV. He heard about recording artists holding concerts to raise funds for worthy causes, and caught the spirit himself. In March of 2010, “I Want a Great World” was recorded by eight year old Gabriel Kammann and classmates Sujin Lee, Siena Maxwell and Emma Storberg of Oneness Family School International Peace Academy (Chevy Case, MD). Piano accompaniment is by Amy Conley, Music Director at the Celebration Center for Spiritual Living (Falls Church, VA).
